Paul White has been the dealer since 1973, following in the footsteps of his father who became dealer in 1944, who succeeded his brother, the first dealer. Paul’s son, Vince White, started here in the late 1980’s sweeping floors – he is now one of our top salesmen and is designated to be the next dealer of Universal Chevrolet. Vince has twin boys of his own to follow as 4th generation dealers!
Al White is also a second generation owner and Rental Department Manager. Jim Gardner is owner and General Manager and has been here for 23 years. Our Comptroller, Gayla King and our Finance Officer, Joan Richert, both have been with Universal Chevrolet for over 25 years. Kenny Andrews, Service Manager and Travis White, Parts Manager have over 15 years each with us. We are proud to say Universal Chevrolet and its employees have been here a long time and we are here to stay.
Our Sales Department received the 2010 Chevrolet Sales Satisfaction Leader Award for the months of February, March and April 2010, in the Raleigh zone of 22 dealers. And, we have been ranked 3rd and 4th in new Chevrolet retail sales in all of the Wake County dealers for the past 10 years – in April 2010, we were ranked 2nd!
