“TRAVIS TALK”
I’ve been in the car business for thirty years and it amazes me as to what people keep in their vehicles! We’ve literally handed people a trash bag to get out their stuff when trading in their car. I guess you should always be prepared. What are some necessary items that you must have in your vehicle on a day-to-day basis or better yet, when you are traveling?
As for me, I always have the following items close by:
My pistol, flashlight, my GM accessory GB150 Boost Pro 3,000 -Amp Battery Jump Starter by “NOCO”, some napkins, sunscreen (can’t have this pretty head of mine getting burnt right?) ….and I can’t forget that yummy “Texas Pete” hot sauce! You never know when you need to add a bit of flavor! Now this Noco Jump Starter is NICE! It will jump a car in a matter of seconds, works on diesels, and has all the adapters to charge your cell phone or other electronics. If you are enrolled in Chevy rewards you can redeem your chevy points to purchase one. All you need is 3,260 points or you can buy for $325.95.
Now as for my wife, she thinks of everything! She is going to have some hand sanitizer wipes, some straws, a lint roller, tylenol, hand lotion, loose change, gum, an umbrella and without a doubt she will not leave the house without her “Ugg” Blanket! However, we both agree that the best road trip snack of all time is definitely a bag of “Combos”.
