One of the latest additions to our inventory is the 2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The Trailblazer recently got a major overhaul for the 2024 model year, so the updates for 2026 are relatively few. Still, they’re worth noting.

In previous years, a spare tire came standard on every Trailblazer. This year, the spare tire and jack are optional, so if you do not opt for a spare tire, look for your standard tire inflator kit instead. Tire inflator kits save a huge amount of weight and space compared to full-size spares, which can weight up to 50 pounds, including the jack and wrench. The downside is that they are only a temporary fix, but can allow you to drive into a service center rather than be towed.

The other changes are mainly cosmetic. Sometimes you just want your car to match your vibrant style, you know? For 2026, the Crimson Metallic and Nitro Yellow Metallic colors are out. They’re being replaced by the new colors Apex Red and White Sands. This news will be a real bummer to Wake Forest drivers who love that in-your-face yellow, but a great boon to lovers of subtle desert hues. Apex Red is not appreciably different from Crimson Metallic.
