The Chevy Silverado HD slots in as an uncompromisingly capable heavy-duty truck that's well-suited to everything from hauling and towing to off-road adventuring. The Chevy Silverado 3500 HD offers four trim levels: WT, LT, LTZ, and High Country.
Performance
The Chevy Silverado 3500 HD makes two engines available, with one being a diesel. The entry-level engine that comes standard with the WT trim is a 6.6-liter V8 that manages 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. For those interested in opting for a diesel engine, there's a 6.6-liter V8 that makes 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is optional. For those interested in adding some off-road functionality, there's a Z71 off-road package that adds off-road tires, an upgraded suspension, skid plates, and hill descent control.
Technology
The Chevy Silverado 3500 HD offers a solid set of tech features with all trims, with the base WT coming with a 7-inch touchscreen display, a 6-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and USB ports. The LT trim comes with a 13.4-inch touchscreen display and a 12.3-inch driver information display. The High Country comes with wireless device charging, a Bose premium sound system, and a surround-view camera system. There's also an optional Technology package that can be added to the Chevy Silverado 3500, which offers a head-up display and a digital rearview mirror.
Interior Features
While the Chevy Silverado 3500 is first and foremost a work-related vehicle, there's a solid set of interior features to enjoy. The WT trim comes with keyless entry, single-zone climate control, vinyl upholstery, and underseat storage. The LT trim comes with cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and remote engine start. The LTZ trim comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, and a heated steering wheel. The LTZ comes with leather upholstery while the High Country comes with ventilated front seats and carpeted floors.
